We offer a wide variety of bespoke programmes to help you meet your goals.
Our Services
Working with schools
We deliver customised programmes to supplement the school curriculum. They are delivered on an annual basis to Year 10 or 11 students and can be run during class hours or as an after school programme. Programmes can be delivered to Years 7 through to 9 after consultation with you. For example a Boarders programme can be designed to cover topics you wish covered.
The skills we teach give students the confidence to tackle important situations such as interviews, formal events or the first day on a new job.
We tailor our programmes to your requirements, incorporating any or all of the modules outlined below, to create the presentation you feel would best suit your students. The sessions are structured to create an informative yet relaxed atmosphere. Handouts, and , role play are used where applicable.
The programmes are delivered by facilitators whose objective is to give all students the confidence to believe in themselves and recognise that their behaviour, posture, manners and presentation will support their secondary or tertiary skills. They have been chosen for their expertise and their ability to engage the students.
Sample programmes
Manners & Style will work with you to develop a customised programme that meets your individual needs. Some sample programmes are provided below to give an indication of what we can deliver.
Most sessions are designed to run for one period. This could be anywhere between 45 minutes and an hour, depending on your schools timetable.
Manners and etiquette
This session will ask “what is etiquette and why is it still relevant in our modern world?” We cover topics like how to introduce yourself and others, basic manners for all occasions, how to treat your friends and peers, conversation techniques, listening skills and so on.
The interview process
In this session we will explore the different presentation skills that required for different workplaces. We will cover the importance of eye contact, handshakes and positive body language. We will also discuss what you might need to take to an interview, what is expected of you and what to do after your interview.
First formal etiquette
Do you have your first formal school event coming up? This module is for you. We will cover appropriate dress, introducing your formal date to your friends and family and discuss what appropriate behaviour might look like and what your school and venue expectations are.
Personal presentation
During these sessions we reinforce all those aspects of personal presentation that parents have had with their children. We will cover personal presentation, grooming, skincare and hygiene as well as hair, skin and how to dress appropriately for every occasion.
Table manners
Some simple lessons for young men and women - how to hold your own in a formal dining situation, or just in your every day life. We discuss how to set a table, which knife or fork to us when and any other dining etiquette tips. We ask what makes a good dinnertime conversation and how you can feel comfortable dining with people you may not know well. This session includes role play.
Cost
Sessions can cost as little as $10 to $15 student, as discounted lesson costs occur if multiple lessons are booked. We are more than happy to discuss costs with you. Contact us to discuss your individual needs and we can provide a more detailed quote
